ToolTrack.dev (“ToolTrack”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Zwinny Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated in India. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the website at tooltrack.dev (the “Site”) and how that information is handled.

We have designed the Site to keep the data you put into the developer tools on your device. Everything else described below relates to operating a public website and showing advertising.

Information processed in your browser only

All tools on the Site (JSON formatting, Base64, JWT decoding, hashing, regex testing, list operations, and so on) run entirely in your browser. The text, files, or other inputs you paste or upload into a tool are not transmitted to ToolTrack or to any third party. They never leave your device.

Your favourites, recently used tools, and theme preference are stored in your browser’s local storage. They stay on your device, are not sent to us, and you can clear them at any time using the controls in the Site or your browser settings.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, the following information is processed:

  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, referrer, and timestamp. These logs are used to keep the Site available and to detect abuse, and are retained for a limited time.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. The Site itself does not set first-party tracking cookies. The third-party services described below may set cookies or read device identifiers from your browser.

We process the limited data described above to operate and secure the Site (legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and to display advertising that funds the Site. Where applicable, advertising that involves personal data is shown only after we have collected the consent required by your local law via a consent management platform.

Your rights (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal. Notice for California residents

We do not sell personal information for money. The use of advertising identifiers and cookies for advertising may, under the California Consumer Privacy Act, be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings and via the global privacy control signal sent by your browser.

Data retention

Server logs are retained for a short period for security and abuse-prevention purposes and are then deleted or anonymized. Local storage entries persist on your device until you clear them.

International transfers

The third-party services described above are operated by providers based outside India and the EEA. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Children

The Site is intended for software developers and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA / UK). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top of the page reflects the date of the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
